1.       Think About What Will Make Money Right Now.

This may mean that you need to call every existing customer and client you have to get a firm idea of what their end of the year needs are going to be. Now is the time to really put your efforts behind what makes you the most money – both in the short term and in the long term. Anything that does not directly impact the bottom line should be A) outsourced or B) put aside.

2.     Complete Unfinished business deals.

Call those “hot” prospective clients and get them closed.

3.     Schedule Trainings!

Your Business should be your priority! While there is some business down time, get your employees equipped and prepared to handle the upcoming busy seasons.

4.     Plan for later, NOW!

Schedule a date to have a planning session to prepare for the new year. Come with a short-term business development plan. What items are you leaving in 2017? What services do you need to implement in 2017? Does your customer service need some improvement?

5.     Marketing, Marketing, Marketing!

Now is the time to plant those seeds for 2018. Marketing and business outreach done now should yield potential clients months from now. Has your company taken on a new look? You can start pushing your “New Year, New Look” campaign to current and prospective clients now, to see the efforts pay off in the new year.
